[June 2017]OC Boardwalk, N. Division Street
New for the summer of 2017, 100 Nights of Lights is a free event featuring high powered searchlights that accent the sky and surrounding areas around the downtown OC Boardwalk on N. Division Street. A variety of vibrant colored lights will accentuate the surrounding beach scape.

June is the season for high school graduates to visit Ocean City to celebrate with friends. Grads can participate in a variety of activates such as Karaoke, volleyball, dodgeball, kayaking, bowling and more!

Carousel Hotel, 118th Street @ 8:30 p.m.
On the Beach, 27th Street @ 8:30 p.m.
Bring your beach chair or beach blanket and enjoy free movies on the beach. Movies held on 118th Street are at the Carousel Hotel on 118th Street. Movies held on 27th Street are on the beach on 27th Street at the end of the boardwalk.

502 94th Street
This new event will showcase local and regional filmmakers promoting diversity and uniqueness in its mission to engage the community with the world of film. There is no entry fee for this event. For more information, visit http://ocmdfilmfestival.com/

OC Boardwalk, Wicomico Street to N. Division Street Beaches
The Sand Duels Beach Soccer Tournament is the largest sand soccer event in Ocean City. Open to all traditional and non-traditional soccer teams featuring recreational and competitive brackets. For more information, email westcoat@mac.com or call 443-204-3785.
7th Street on the Beach
The Capt. Schoepf Lifeguard Relay is held in honor of Capt. Schoepf who served the Ocean City Beach Patrol from 1987-1996. This relay is open to the Ocean City Beach Patrol, as well as anyone that has worked the OCBP in the past or has a personal connection to Capt. Schoepf. For more information, call 410-289-7556.
16th Street, Show Center
Watch the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits the skills possessed by all naval aviators. You’ll see the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-jet diamond formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of two Solo pilots followed by the pinnacle of precision flying, when the solos join the diamond and perform in the six-jet Delta Formation.

Annual convention and conference for the State of Maryland Fire and Rescue Services. Annual meeting, exhibits, training opportunities, and seminars are available. The public is invited to come in and meet the firemen and see exhibits Monday thru Wednesday. The Memorial Service is Sunday at 7pm. The Opening Ceremonies are Monday at 8:30am. The Exhibits are Monday and Tuesday from 9am-4pm and Wednesday from 9am to noon. The Annual Parade is Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Northside Park, 125th Street
Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park on 125th Street for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment. Sundaes in the Park is a family concert series offered most Sunday evenings in the summer months from 7pm to 9pm. For a small fee, enjoy your own ice cream sundae creation as you listen to your musical favorites and watch the sunset over the beautiful Assawoman Bay. Somerset Street Plaza Near Boardwalk
OC Cruzers will display approximately 15 vehicles along Somerset Street Plaza. The owners of the vehicles will supervise and educate spectators about their older cars. Beach, 46th Street
This event is a self-sustaining long-running series of surfing competitions for amateur athletes. Events provide amateur athletes with an avenue to international and Olympic competition. For more information, contact Jeff Phillips at 410-430-9149.
Northside Park, 125th Street - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Art's Alive is Ocean City's biggest and best fine arts show. Enjoy fine art for sale around a beautiful lagoon in a picturesque park with expansive bay views. Family Beach Olympics are back by popular demand! These fun-filled events include sand castle contests, tug-of-war, relay races and more. All activities are free. For more information, call 410-250-0125.
Tuesdays from June 27 to August 8 at 27th Street Beach from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. There will be no Family Beach Olympics on July 4.
From Pier to the Inlet, Downtown

Bahia Marina, 2107 Herring Way, Ocean City, MD
The Mako Mania is a mako shark tournament with added entry levels for bluefish and thresher shark. Daily weigh-ins will be held at Bahia Marina from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm each fishing day. Stop by, have a beverage and something to eat at FishTales while watching the sharks come in to be weighed.
